Mala Kline is a performer, choreographer and writer. She holds a BA in philosophy and comparative literature, an MA in theater and is completing her PhD in Philosophy on ethics in contemporary performing arts. She is a certified practitioner and teacher of Saphire™ Work. Her own author-based choreographic work is embedded in dreaming – creative and performative practice based on the affective and transformative performance of image, built as a translation of Saphire™ imagery and dream techniques for use in dance and choreography. She is extensively engaged in a variety of research, and educational, publishing and founding activities. She founded EMANAT Institute, School of Images Slovenia, and DREAMLAB. She has received numerous awards, such as several Triton Awards, the Golden Bird and the Award of Ksenija Hribar for choreography.
