Michelle Gurevich (1980), grew up in the Russian quarter of Toronto, the daughter of a Kirov ballerina and an engineer from Leningrad. She has been living and working in
Berlin since 2010. A genuine person and
musician, she is the author of texts and music and, until 2010, she produced
CDs in her own studio.
Her first album Party Girl (2007) catapulted her to success, whilst her new album Show Me The Face (2010) clearly shows the core of her music: classical European balladry –decadent, dramatic and earnest. Since 2010, she has been collaborating with the Moutique label; before that, she produced CDs alone, independently from large record labels.
